Intent
Intent Parsing refers to the process of analyzing and interpreting a user’s intent submitted as a transaction or message on a blockchain. This process transforms high-level user actions into actionable operations that can be executed on the destination blockchain.
Key Steps in Intent Parsing:
Intent Retrieval
Fetch the user-submitted intent from the source chain's contract or message pool.
The intent is typically stored in a predefined structure to ensure compatibility.
Intent Analysis
Decode and validate the intent data, ensuring it adheres to the expected schema.
Analyze the intent to determine the target operation, such as transferring assets, invoking a smart contract, or executing a cross-chain transaction.
Intent Translation
Map the high-level intent into executable transaction(s) tailored to the destination blockchain’s requirements.
Include details such as transaction type, parameters, and target contract addresses.
Proof Generation
Generate cryptographic proofs to verify the validity of the intent and its translation, ensuring trustless execution on the destination chain.
